ABOUT US
After taking care of the Saint-Véran observatory and the Mount Chiran observatory for several years, we — Joseph astronomer and photographer and Tiphaine singer, musician — have developed this concept of mixing astronomical observation using a telescope and the immersion provided by the artistic contribution of music during astronomical observation evenings. Today we have chosen to share this principle by going out to meet different audiences in places where a quality sky allows it.
It is at the Mount Chiran observatory that we developed the concept of astronomical animations accompanied by musical improvisations. The idea first came from noting the often long wait between each observation, each person looking one by one in the eyepiece at each of the proposed sky objects (planets, nebulae, globular clusters, galaxies, etc.). First anxious to meet this expectation, we then decided to combine our respective passions and practices in order to offer an animation combining astronomy and musical travel, both scientific and artistic. The unquestionable interest quickly took precedence over the first intention and the feedback was positive and encouraging.
This is how we had the idea of starting an astronomy and music , without a fixed location, by carrying our equipment : telescope 509 millimeters in diameter, photographs, piano, microphone, loop station and theremin.

There are a number of places, mountain refuges, lodges, altitude passes that already attract hikers or curious about the sky with their own equipment. Today we invite you to meet us there for a discovery of the night sky in an always different landscape and in music.
